Jenny Lake Boat Cruise
Jenny Lake is a picturesque glacial lake located at the base of the Grand Teton range. Jenny Lake Lookout is accessible by car, and various hiking trails around the shore line are available for magnificent views. Shuttle boats, to access trail heads across the lake, canoe rentals, and scenic boat cruises are available at the boat dock near the south shore Visitors Center.
A picturesque Jenny Lake boat cruise can be incorporated into the GTNP Full-day Tour and added onto the GTNP Half-day tour. Shuttle boats to trail heads run frequently, private boats run as requested, and an evening public boat tour runs at sunset. Sunrise and sunset hours are an especially scenic and peaceful experience. An un-guided hike to Hidden Falls & Inspiration Point can be incorporated. A wine and cheese or lunch service can be accommodated on the private boats.
Any boat fees are paid directly to concessionaire.
(Note: GTNP does not provide permits to any companies for summer guided hiking)
(fun facts: Born from earthquakes and sculpted by glaciers, The Teton Range exposes some of the oldest rocks in North America, but is among the youngest mountains in the world.)
